"Judea and Samaria" (as the only permitted name)

Official Israeli state terminology for the occupied West Bank, mandatory in government usage since the 1970s.

What it signals

Biblical renaming does political work: a 'West Bank' can be occupied and returned; 'Judea and Samaria' is ancestral homeland that can only be redeemed. The vocabulary pre-decides the argument.

How to answer

Name the move, not the map: 'Calling it Judea and Samaria doesn't change what the ICJ, the Security Council, and Israel's own High Court call it — occupied territory.' Then continue in your own terms; never adopt theirs.
