Read the record instead of the slogan. Camp David, 2000: no written offer was ever put on the table, and US participants like Rob Malley demolished the 'generous offer refused' story in print. The Arab Peace Initiative — full recognition of Israel by the entire Arab League in exchange for a state on 22% of historic Palestine — has sat on the table since 2002; Israel has never accepted it. Olmert's 2008 map was shown once and never handed over, by his own account. Meanwhile one fact needs no interpreter: the settler population has roughly tripled since Oslo. That is a physical answer to the question of who kept building on the land under negotiation. And the current Israeli government opposes any Palestinian state openly — Netanyahu campaigns on having prevented one. 'No partner' is a telescope pointed one way.
