'Hasbara' is Israel's own term for its public-diplomacy apparatus — ministries, funded programs, and training materials. Much of it is ordinary advocacy of the kind every state does. This section covers the specific tactics documented in leaked or published materials, so you can recognize the technique when you meet it.
How to recognize it
A tactic being listed here doesn't mean every pro-Israel voice is using it, or arguing in bad faith. Judge the argument in front of you.
How to answer it
Use this section for recognition, not accusation. 'You're doing hasbara' persuades no one; calmly answering the technique does.
