- Overnight into Sunday, July 26, settlers attacked several Palestinian villages, burning two mosques, a home, and vehicles, and spraying 'revenge' graffiti — confirmed by Reuters, AP, and the IDF's own statements to Israeli press.
- In Qusra, south of Nablus, graffiti on a burned mosque read 'Benayahu's revenge,' naming the reservist killed at Tal — an explicit statement that these are reprisals against people uninvolved in Friday's deaths.
- On Friday, hundreds of settlers had already rampaged through Sarra, southwest of Nablus, burning homes and forcing families to flee (Middle East Eye, on the ground).
- The army said troops sent to Qusra 'combed the area' but the attackers had fled. Contrast: ~50 Palestinians were arrested in Tal within a day.

Name what burning a mosque is: a religious hate crime, committed as collective revenge against people who did nothing. Then show the asymmetry with numbers — mass arrests of Palestinians within hours, zero settlers in custody for the arson as of this card. Palestinian officials count at least 45 mosques vandalized or burned in 2025 alone; this is a pattern with impunity, not a one-night aberration.
When they reply
"Both sides are committing violence."
One side burned houses of worship as announced revenge against uninvolved civilians, and its attackers fled without arrest. State response to each side is not symmetrical either: raids and mass arrests for Palestinians, impunity for the arsonists. 'Both sides' erases who holds the guns, the courts, and the checkpoints.

OCHA logged 3,033 settler attacks in 18 months across 230+ communities — that is infrastructure, not fringe. And ministers responded to Tal by calling for demolition of Palestinian villages, which is incitement from the cabinet, not condemnation.
